Rockville, MD (PRWEB) March 03, 2015
JReport, the leading embedded visualization and reporting software, was featured in the latest Magic Quadrant for Business Intelligence and Analytics Platforms report published by Gartner Research in February 2015. JReport was included in the Magic Quadrant report based on key vendor capabilities and customer feedback.
Among the positive acknowledgments made about JReport, Gartner stated, “Jinfonet’s product strengths are its embedding capability, through its customizable architecture for integration with host applications, and a high-performance reporting engine (JReport).” Gartner also commends JReport as “optimized to be scalable and fault-tolerant” and mentions recent “improvements to geospatial, performance and visualizations.” JReport also added “enhanced dashboards, interactive visualization and mobile capabilities, and support for big data sources — MongoDB, Hadoop (through Hive), and Amazon Redshift.”
Gartner gives insight into the future direction of JReport. “Enhancements to usability and investment in the cloud are on the company’s near-term road map,” which positions JReport as a BI platform to watch out for in the present and near future for enterprise reporting and analysis needs.
JReport had to meet strict corporate and product requirements in order to be featured in the Magic Quadrant report. Among these requirements were an extensive list of vendor capabilities and customer survey responses, which emphasize JReport’s strong commitment to both their products and their customers.
