A big question which many people ask me when considering the Wealthy Affiliate University is the question, ‘is Wealthy Affiliate right for me?’ Over the next few paragraphs I hope to help you to find an answer.

To start off with, let me explain a little background about the website and myself. Wealthy Affiliate is in the internet marketing category, and aims to get its members to build an internet marketing business. So, that’s kind of what it is. A place on the net which can help people to build up an internet marketing business. Now, while it may not be hard to build up a business, it certainly does take time. I’ve been at the University for about a year now, and I have not been very successful. I attribute that to not putting in the effort behind it all.

Try and learn from my mistakes here: Wealthy Affiliate will not, repeat, will not make you a millionaire overnight. This does not happen in the real world. Yes, it is true people can make ‘piles’ of money in a short space of time, but the only people this happens to are those with extensive email lists, the sort that have been doing this for years, and understand the system very well.

Instead, understand that if you are asking the question is Wealthy Affiliate right for me, understand to become successful, you will have to put in a lot of effort, a lot of groundwork. While it is not hard, it is time-consuming, so you should only consider the University if you are able to give it about 10 hours a week (preferably more). Scary, eh.

But what if you know nothing about internet marketing? Well, neither did I, when I first joined! Nothing at all. Now, you can ask me stuff about it, and while I won’t give you the most detailed account ever, I can give you a overview. Which I attribute to Wealthy Affiliate.

Is Wealthy Affiliate right for you? Well, if you have the time, drive, passion and genuine commitment to creating an online business, then the University will probably be able to help you. It has for me.
