Google has just launched a new tool called Google Instant supporting fast search. This application make your search quicker and more interactive. This can create competitive advantage for Google search engine compared to others. This even aids searchers to obtain the desired result with a partial query. This application is defined as “search before you type”. It is really smart to guess the topic that you intend to search for.
Google has included some features into this application like the Dynamic result, Predictions and scroll to search facility. These core features will provide the best results for the partial queries you give. The dynamic result will help to display the relevant outputs at the time you type the query, so you can easily choose from the results displayed. The prediction feature will predict the rest of your query words; you can see this while you type the query. You can see the predicted topics if you wait after typing some keywords. Google has also provided the facility to scroll down while you are typing the keywords.
This application has decreased the time for searching the topics in internet. Google estimates that by this application they have saved about eleven hours each second for its users. The average time for searching the net has also decreased from 5 seconds to 2 seconds. This facility will be available to Firefox, Chrome, Safari and IE 8 also. Google has used AJAX application to enable this facility. They have also introduced a new caching systems and a page rendering Java script to make Google instant a reality. Soon after the launching of this technique this was spread to all counties and platforms those are subscribing Google. Google should be applauded for this new technology that is launched without destroying the simplicity and significance of Google search engine.
