A friend of mine recently launched a category based shopping site called Category Shop.
The concept while not entirely unique is executed pretty well. I have found it pretty useful. Some of the more interesting shops include, Cooking Supplies, Pampering and relaxation products, Cameras and Fine Optics, Pet Supplies, Flatware, and Storage and Organization Supplies.
