RevenueWire CEO Bobbi Leach has been named 2015 Executive of the Year by the Victoria Advanced Technology Council (VIATeC) as part of their annual awards celebrating the region’s vibrant technology community. The Executive of the Year award recognizes an individual whose leadership has made a significant and direct impact on an organization’s success.
“It is a huge honour to be recognized amongst such an amazing group of tech leaders in Victoria,” said Leach. “In business, success is a team effort and this award is shared with the entire RevenueWire team, past and present.”
Track Record of Success
Leach has held executive level roles in a number of marketing and technology companies for over 25 years, including the last 17 years in Victoria’s technology sector.
During the last six years at the helm of RevenueWire, the company has experienced tremendous growth. Leach has been responsible for leading the strategic expansion and diversification of the company’s ecommerce services into new business verticals. This has resulted in revenue growth of over 400% while the number of employees has increased from 15 in 2009 to over 80, most of whom are based out the company’s Victoria headquarters.
This high, sustained growth has seen RevenueWire recognized by numerous business publications over the last several years including Profit Magazine, Branham, mThink and Deloitte.
While the Executive of the Year recognition comes on the heels of Leach being featured on the cover of Douglas Magazine’s April edition, Leach is quick to credit her success to the team around her.
“I am very fortunate to have worked with the same executive team my entire time as CEO of RevenueWire,” said Leach. “I’m also very proud that many of RevenueWire’s employees have been with the company for several years, which I think speaks to the great culture we have here.”
Leach is also active in the local technology community volunteering her time with VIATeC, the Island Women in Tech group as well as guest lecturing business students at local post-secondary institutions.
