The Yosemite Valley is nestled in the heart of the Yosemite National Park and accessible by State Highway 120, 140, and highway 41.

Bridalveil Fall is the first water fall the profiles in the horizon as visitors start winding their road down to the Yosemite Valley. Nevada Fall and Vernal Fall are unique but can’t be seen from the Yosemite Valley, An hour hike from the Yosemite Valley Floor is required to see these Giant Waterfalls.

The Yosemite U shape strikes first time visitors. The Giant Granite Walls surround the Yosemite Valley from all sides. This would be the perfect setting for a science fiction movie thanks to its giants demission and natural wonders.
In the course of time, the geology of the Yosemite Valley has curved from a V to a U shape creating deep canyons and steep hanging valleys such El Capitan and Half Dome that became the symbol of the Valley.

The Biology of the Yosemite is also very interesting. You may run into a bear , a coyote or an Elk in the Yosemite Valley. The variety of conifers in the valley is quiet amazing. You can see and picture the imposing red bark trees called Incense-cedars but also, ponderosa Pines, Sugar Pines, Lodgepole Pines, white & red firs as well.
