Greenville, SC (PRWEB) April 02, 2015
AssetPoint, a leading provider of Computerized Maintenance Management Software / Enterprise Asset Management (CMMS / EAM) solutions, announced Outlook Nebraska, Inc. has selected TabWare CMMS / EAM for maintenance and asset management of their quality paper products manufacturing facility in Omaha, Nebraska.
Outlook Nebraska, Inc. (ONI) recognized the need to replace their outdated Preventive Maintenance (PM) tracking spreadsheets with an automated solution that would enable them to easily plan, organize and manage all PM work. To help monitor and reduce unnecessary spending, ONI also needed to gain a better understanding of their equipment maintenance costs throughout the plant. After a detailed search of the marketplace, ONI selected TabWare CMMS / EAM solution for its ease-of use, robust equipment maintenance reporting and analytics capability. ONI also valued the ability to link original equipment manufacturer (OEM) videos and drawings to work orders in TabWare. As ONI continues to progress using TabWare, they plan to utilize TabWare CrossRoads to integrate their existing Microsoft Dynamics GP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution with TabWare for improved control of their spare parts inventory purchasing.
In addition to TabWare’s robust functionality, ONI wanted to get up and running quickly, so they chose the Software as a Service (SaaS) deployment option. AssetPoint passes an annual SSAE 16 Type II audit for system and data security year after year and maintains a formal disaster recovery process to ensure business continuity in the event of a disaster. AssetPoint also upholds an annual overall uptime rate of over 99.97%.
Jason Rice, Maintenance Facilitator at Outlook Nebraska, states “Outlook Nebraska is a full manufacturing facility, and we did not have complete visibility or control over our maintenance activities or costs. Our PM was managed in spreadsheets, so we wanted an easy to use, automated solution that would help us plan, organize and efficiently execute work. TabWare met all of our functionality requirements, and we are looking forward to integrating with our Microsoft Dynamics ERP in the near future.”
