I am getting intermittent reports that many of Godaddy's hosting customers are still down after a denial of service attack brought down Godaddy and it's hosting environment.

Online Back Up Solutions - Man have they gotten better!
Sorry for the paucity of posts this last two weeks I have been working earlymiser.com and my colocated servers. One of the things I have been looking at is off site back up for Thalasar.com. I have four Dell boxes online which host various projects. I need an offsite backup method for those boxes. One of the services I have been looking at is IDrive-E Online Backup.

Website Hosting - Get your own site!
Basic website hosting is one of those things that I take for granted. I have multiple options open to me since I manage and maintain my own cluster, in addition to having a significant number of shared hosting accounts for IP range diversity. I usually bring on a new host when I have a project that has specific needs in a hosting environment.
